John Lowndes

John is a graduate student from Orlando, Florida, studying Earth Systems at Stanford. As the Conservation Program's communications and outreach specialist, he helps organize volunteer workdays, writes for and compiles our quarterly newsletter, and runs the Conservation Program's social media accounts. His studies in Earth Systems center on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and ecology, and in his free time he enjoys hiking, biking, and playing soccer.
